Initiative highlights importance of healthy indoor environment
The Binnenklimaattechniek Foundation is taking the next step in meeting the knowledge needs of professionals committed to healthy indoor climate: on its revamped website Binnenklimaattechniek.co.uk, the knowledge centre shows access to all publications, tools and guidelines within different application areas. With this initiative, the foundation emphasises the importance of a healthy indoor climate and the knowledge required to achieve it.
For each field of application, professionals will now receive specific knowledge in the form of tools, publications and guidelines on the revamped website. The knowledge centre links research from higher and academic education to practice. A good example of this is the recently published PoA Healthy Indoor Climate for Long-Term Care. Prior to this publication, the influence of indoor climate conditions on specific target groups within long-term care was studied in order to draw up a Schedule of Requirements.
Knowledge projects
Questions from the market, may give rise to knowledge projects. The knowledge centre facilitates this collaboration with market players, so that the knowledge can grow along with a changing built environment.
Binnenklimaattechniek.co.uk also shows the training offerings for aspiring and experienced climate technicians from various training providers. These connect to various aspects related to healthy indoor climate.
