TVVL takes delivery of Indoor Climate Label

On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, Debby Slofstra and John Lens received the official Indoor Climate Label on behalf of TVVL from Remi Hompe, chairman of the Binnenklimaattechniek foundation. The foundation is a knowledge platform that provides tools and instruments to improve the indoor climate in the Netherlands. The Indoor Climate Label recognizes TVVL's efforts to create a healthy and comfortable indoor climate for its employees, students and visitors.

The Indoor Climate Label: hallmark for a healthy indoor climate

The Indoor Climate Label is a hallmark indicating that a building meets strict requirements in terms of air quality, temperature, light and noise. TVVL has made efforts to achieve and maintain these requirements, and has now been rewarded for this with the award of the Indoor Climate Label B.

The Indoor Climate Label is awarded by an independent organization that assesses and certifies the indoor climate quality of buildings. The label aims to raise awareness of the importance of a healthy indoor climate and to encourage building owners to invest in creating a healthy and comfortable indoor climate.

John Lens, director of TVVL, is very pleased with the recognition. "We find it important that our employees and visitors feel comfortable in our building. A healthy indoor climate is essential for that. In addition, as a specialist in the field of indoor climate, we obviously cannot be left behind with our own office. We set an example and we take it very seriously. The Indoor Climate Label is great recognition for our hard work in this area."

Organizations that achieve the Indoor Climate Label enter a database of buildings that are demonstrably healthy. The label was developed from knowledge center Binnenklimaattechniek, by Binnenklimaat Nederland, TVVL, TNO, BBA, OfficeVitae and DWA.
