Inleiding

Performing microbiological air and contact research is a specialty. The method of sampling, the places to be sampled, the equipment used and food soils have a great influence on the measurement results. In addition, interpreting the measurement results requires expertise.

In order to achieve a uniform method of microbiological air and contact research and assessment of the results, indoor environment consultancy firms affiliated with Binnenklimaat Nederland have drawn up this measurement protocol. The basis of the measurement protocol is the NEN-EN13098 (Exposure in the workplace - Measurement of microorganisms and microbial substances in the air - General requirements). This measurement protocol describes how, with which equipment and which microorganisms the air should be examined.

Indoor Climate Inspection & Advice is a focus group of Indoor Climate Netherlands, which deals with indoor climate quality and inspection. Indoor Climate Inspection & Advice is responsible for establishing and maintaining this measurement protocol. The use of and reporting in accordance with the measurement protocol is guaranteed and verified with parties affiliated with the focus group Indoor Climate Inspection & Advice.
