Ventilation inspection and residents
What does the Ventilation Label mean for residents?
We know from research that the indoor climate in a home is often worse than the air quality outside. Few people realize that we create our indoor climate ourselves. For example, cooking releases particulate matter and washing and cooking produce quite a bit of moisture. CO2 free. So for health reasons, it is important to change the indoor air regularly. In other words, ventilate.
With the Ventilation Label, residents get what they are entitled to: a good system that is correctly installed and regularly maintained which greatly improves the quality of the indoor climate. Of course, residents themselves can also contribute to creating a healthy indoor climate.

Benefits Ventilation Label
The Ventilation Label aims to increase resident satisfaction by providing an optimally functioning ventilation system. Through good education, residents also know what they themselves can pay attention to. The quality standard behind the Ventilation Label also makes it clear to the manager what requirements the system must meet.
With the Ventilation Certificate, the resident is assured of:
▪ Regular maintenance and inspection of the ventilation system by a ventilation specialist
▪ A constant indoor climate
▪ A healthy home
What can I do myself?
The Ventilation Label makes a major contribution to achieving a healthy indoor climate in the home, but residents themselves obviously have an influence on the quality. In order for the ventilation system to perform optimally, it is important to consider the following tips:
▪ Dry laundry outside or in a condenser dryer with a drain to the outside.
▪ Cook with a lid on the pan AND the hood on.
▪ Pull the shower stall dry after showering.
▪ Do not use candles, incense or other air fresheners in the home.
▪ Don't smoke in the house.
