Albert Walda training advisor and ambassador Vakcentrum Binnenklimaattechniek
March 15, 2023As of March 1, 2023, Albert Walda is training advisor of the Vakcentrum Binnenklimaattechniek. Albert is 60 years old, lives in Enschede and has been working in the installation industry for over 40 years. During that time he has developed mainly in the field of air treatment. In his new role, he will be a source of questions for the various interested parties, spotting and responding to new developments in the installation sector and actively approaching employers (especially companies active in air treatment) and informing them of the opportunities offered by the Vakcentrum. In his free time he does all kinds of things, but what he likes best is to travel, play sports and meet up with friends or family. Since 1986 he has been self-employed and over time Albert has increased his knowledge by attending many training courses in the evenings. In January 2022, after years of successful entrepreneurship, he sold his business to gain more independence. This allowed him to focus on other things that also interested him and he became co-developer of the curriculum for Air Distribution Mechanic. Albert also contributed to the advent of the Trade Center Binnenklimaattechniek.
Purpose of the Trade Center
We ask Albert what experience he brings to this position and what the purpose of the Binnenklimaattechniek trade center is. To this he replies, "I am able to communicate with people at all levels within organizations, have a great deal of people skills and, partly due to my experience as an entrepreneur in the installation technology sector, I am also very knowledgeable on the subject. During the development of the teaching materials, contacts were established with Remi Hompe (Chairman of the Binnenklimaattechniek Foundation) and Nico van Leeuwen (ROVC), the click was so good that we were able to quickly and decisively build the Trade Center. With the aim of raising the industry's profile, providing a meeting place and creating a source of expertise from and for the industry."
Who is the Trade Center Binnenklimaattechniek for?
The Vakcentrum is intended for companies, employees and others interested in air treatment and related techniques.O+O Funds and the UWV can help bring the Vakcentrum to their attention. Albert believes that the Vakcentrum can also serve as an example for, for example, Het Aanvalsplan Techniek/De Gouden Poort.
One of a kind
The Trade Center is the place where aspiring and experienced climate technicians receive hands-on education on all aspects related to healthy indoor climate in buildings and homes. It opened in 2022. Albert describes the Trade Center as unique in its kind where a huge amount of expertise is housed in a state-of-the-art environment. It is independent and service-oriented, open to innovations and new ideas.
What do we want to achieve with the Trade Center Binnenklimaattechniek?
In the first place, the Trade Center functions as a knowledge center, in addition it is a promoter for the industry and last but not least a meeting place for peers and professionals. Hybrid training is highly regarded and the Trade Center is in Pole Position in this respect. According to Albert, the Vakcentrum is therefore far from finished:
"The continued involvement and commitment of the various stakeholders are therefore much needed to achieve this goal. I expect that as the Trade Center becomes better known, involvement will also increase."
In his role as training advisor, Albert is also something of an ambassador for the Binnenklimaattechniek Trade Center, and in that capacity he leads the way when it comes to the further development of the Trade Center.
