Management and maintenance guideline Heating

Inleiding

From both the industry and the Government Real Estate Agency (RVB), the need arose to develop an unambiguous document to define the basic quality of management and maintenance of heating installations. On the basis of a cooperation agreement between the RVB and The Dutch Heating Industry, this guideline for management and maintenance of heating installations was created.

This document also incorporates the experience of the RVB and from the heating system management and maintenance industry. This offers the advantage that:

• The basic qualities have been established;
• Experiences from projects are consolidated;
• The market recognises itself in the standards;
• Administrative burden is avoided through uniformity;
• Experiences of innovations from pilot projects can be scaled up.

The document focuses mainly on the management and maintenance of heating installations (generation, distribution and release) in utility buildings. It is primarily written for office environments, but for buildings with other uses and similar installations, the document can also be used.
