Quickly and easily visualize the comfort performance of an office building's climate system with the Indoor Climate Check tool.
When designing an air conditioning system, in many cases a client relies on the knowledge and expertise of consultants and architects. The complex relationship between the system properties of the installation and the properties of the façade is difficult to fathom. As a result, a client often does not have sufficient information to make a well-considered concept choice himself. This also makes steering in a conceptual building design difficult. TVVL and Binnenklimaat Nederland have clarified this connection.
Using the tool, you check the comfort performance of an air conditioning system. You do this by creating a number of reference rooms of an office building. You then enter the corresponding façade and usage data. By selecting a local climate system for each reference space entered, a prediction is made for the comfort level in terms of ventilation, winter comfort and summer comfort. This uses the requirements from the PoA Healthy Offices 2021.
